Millie Brown was born to British parents in Spain. In 2011, they moved to Orlando, Florida, where Millie attended acting courses on Saturdays to pass the time. It was then that a prominent Hollywood talent scout phoned Millie’s parents to tell them that “she has instincts you cannot teach.” She told Millie’s parents that she could “compete with Hollywood’s top youngsters.” Within a week of relocating from Orlando to Los Angeles, Millie met with the city’s leading children’s talent agencies. She was offered representation by every agency she encountered. Millie was given the role of little Alice on ABC’s Once Upon a Time in Wonderland within three months of her arrival in Hollywood. Millie was awarded the role of Madison O’Donnell on BBC America’s “Intruders” in November 2013, following a single self-recorded audition and without seeing the producers/directors.
Brown is one of the youngest nominees for this award. In 2018, Brown was featured in the Time 100 list of the world’s most influential people and was appointed as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, the then-youngest person selected for this position.
On Friday night, Millie Bobby Brown debuted her new blonde hair on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, combining it with an all-purple ensemble. The dress exuded a timeless elegance with contemporary touches. Her off-the-shoulder shirt was embellished with violet feathers and glitter.
The top featured long bell-shaped sleeves and wrapped snugly around her chest, linking to a pair of lavender skintight leggings. Both works were created by Raisa Vanessa. The high-waisted trousers had a material shimmer that caught the sun, and she made her legs appear even longer by wearing black platform heels.
Red carpet evolution
She has embraced feminine, playful, and elegant designs by designers such as Calvin Klein, Rodarte, and Oscar de la Renta on her red carpet appearances. Millie wore a short silver Jenny Packham dress with an illusion neckline as she attended the 2017 Golden Globes shortly after her 13th birthday.
The garment was complemented by sandals by Sophia Webster. In the same year, eleven actresses began to unleash their inner fashionista and wore fun, unique attire to the VMAs. She donned a black tulle dress with gold polka dots and frills by Rodarte and combat boots made of patent leather by Stuart Weitzman.
But she truly captured the eye of fashionistas when she attended the Emmy Awards in this strapless Calvin Klein By Appointment dress that mimicked the Dior New Look of the 1950s and added a young touch with its ribbon belt. The actress displayed her dreamier side through the years by wearing voluminous skirts with frills and ribbons trailing behind her, along with matching pumps or block heels.
At the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, the teen donned a white Louis Vuitton coatdress with cigarette pants and ankle strap pumps to exemplify the sophisticated vintage style. The icing on the cake was a set of exquisite diamonds from Cartier.
Following her interview, Brown was spotted wearing more casual attire for a dinner date with her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, who brought her to the Italian restaurant Don Angie. The couple laughed and smiled as they traversed the New York City rain. Since last summer, Bongiovi and Jon Bon Jovi’s son have been romantically involved.
