A Georgian-style Palace of Henry VIII is Set to Sell Out for $20.2 Million

You know very well that Henry VIII was the world-renowned ruler. He had a daughter named Mary, the first. She was also a famous monarch of England. News is circulating around that the estate, which was once under the use of King Henry VIII, is set to sell all out. Accordingly, the property is called Chobham Park Estate. It is located in the Surrey area of England. The total area of the mentioned state is around 100 acres approximately. According to a recent report, the estate is listed for $20.2 million.

Knight Frank / The estate tells the legacy of Henry VIII that he left behind.

The Estate Has an Untold History in It

The head of the organization who leads the sale says that the house is roughly 500 years old with its classical architecture. The estate’s head also says that there is an adjacent house, with the main house, which is more than a thousand years old.

“In places, it’s 500 years old, you feel the history. It’s overwhelming and geared up for modern-day living family”, the sales head added.

A plethora of myths exists regarding ownership of the mansion in the old days. Some believe that the monks of Chertsey Abbey owned it. Knight Frank listed the house as a double-moated manor house until it was passed on to Henry VIII in the times of “dissolution of monasteries.”

The Palace is a Lavishly Designed House Now

On the Market / Henry VIII used the mansion until the end of 1558, which was eventually sold by his daughter Queen Mary.

In the present day, the former palace of Henry VIII is being turned into a lush plush house. Driveways are decorated with beautiful trees on either side. Georgian style has marked its essence in every corner of the mansion.

Talking about the rooms, this amazing and giant building has six bathrooms, numerous entertaining rooms, dining rooms, and study rooms as well. Every room is decorated with a unique Georgian touch. This mansion is also placed on Grade 2 property by Historic England, an institution for grading old magnificent buildings.

Along with other multiple qualities, this house has many additional built-ins within the house. For example, the gym, parking garages, stairs, kitchens, offices, meeting rooms, and many more.

Knight Frank / The Chobham Park Cottage adds up to the beauty of the estate.

Two cottages are also included in this building; i, e Chobham Park Cottage, and Little Chobham Park Cottage. The first cottage has two beautiful receptions, one small kitchen, and a small study room. Similarly, the latter consists of a one-story building having two beautiful bedrooms, a living room, and a small kitchen.

With Renovations, the Palace Has All the Luxuries

Among amenities, wonderful leisure places are there like a tennis court, garden, swimming pool, and stables. This place can rightly be said to be a park due to the presence of lush plush greenery around.

The current owners have brought humongous changes to the place. They have worked on each and every corner and brought an amazing look. Thus we can say that they have renovated the place thoroughly. Along with the renovation, they have purchased more land around which joints the place into many acres more. Everything is rich in this mansion. History, glory, class, everything meets up in a single place. It would be a golden opportunity to grab the chance and have this wonderful palace forever.
