If you think that identical hosts do not exist, think again. Think about the two hosts that are wildly identical and are often misunderstood: Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel. Both of the hosts are profoundly popular for being misunderstood. While one stars in the late-night show on ABC, the other hosts another late-night show with NBC. Surprisingly, not only are the first names of these two hosts identical, the name of the streaming networks are identical as well. As comedians always do, Jimmy Fallon and Kimmel have always taken benefit of this ‘weird’ yet amazing identity shift.
Recently, both of the Jimmys have come up with something quite unexpected for their viewers. Given that these two have slightly surprised late-night viewers time, and again, this one is quite epic. To kick off the Fool’s Day of 2022, Kimmel and Fallon have come up with something unique and equally bizarre on April 1st.
Continue reading as we dive deep into what the identical comedians did this summer to surprise the late-night fans. In the meantime, it is important to keep in mind that the mothers of the two hosts are also ‘deeply bothered’ by the identity mystery of the duo. “I no more try to differentiate between the two,” said Jimmy Fallon’s mother, adding that she has given up on identifying them.
However, this April Fool’s Day was totally unexpected; the two hosts swapped seats, and one Jimmy appeared on the other’s network and vice versa. Of course, the late-night show audiences were not expecting to have two totally different, yet identical hosts. The audiences of Jimmy Kimmel witnessed Jimmy Fallon as their host. Likewise, Jimmy Fallon hosted the show that was supposed to be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
Unlike Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel hosts a popular late-night show in El Captain Entertainment Center. On the other hand, Fallon hosts a late-night show in New York City.
Hosting the show of Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel opened up the show as the host of Fallon’s late-night show. The audience held their breath as they saw Jimmy Kimmel sitting on the seat of Fallon. Without any reluctance, Kimmel kicks off the show with the monologue that both hosts usually do. He goes on to talk about how he and Jimmy Fallon are identical and people often have a hard time differentiating between them. Here, he also cracks an epic joke as he calls himself Jimmy Fallon.
Nevertheless, what is more wholesome about this long-prepared April Fools joke is the voice of David Letterman, which is included in the tap. While Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel talk to each other about the identity shift, David Letterman comes in and comments. In his intriguing voice, David Letterman can be heard taunting the two and cracking jokes about them.
